A few years ago, my world was turned upside down. I found myself struggling with some really tough personal issues that were affecting me deeply. At the time, I didn’t know where to turn for help or what to do about it. It was at this point that I started praying more than ever before – asking for guidance and forgiveness. And I found that prayer really helped me through those tough times.
As I continued to pray, God started speaking to me more and more clearly about what He wanted me to do next. This is when He led me to start working on my new album, Prayer. The title track of the album is based on one of these prayers I wrote; it’s a song about trusting God even when things feel like they’re going wrong (and knowing that He always has our best interests at heart).
